Kamaz sees sales rising 14–19% to 42,000–44,000 trucks in 2021

MOSCOW, Dec 10 (PRIME) -- Russian truck manufacturer Kamaz expects sales to increase 14–19% on the year to 42,000–44,000 trucks in 2021, Deputy CEO Rustam Shamsutdinov told reporters at a forum on Friday.

“This year we will probably sell 42,000 (trucks). Now it all depends on how our production works. If there is no force majeure from the suppliers, then 43,000 is even possible, closer to 44,000. We’ve just really ramped up production in the last month,” he said.

The company’s sales are expected to reach 44,000 trucks in 2022, Shamsutdinov also said.

“Up to 44,000... We live in line with the market: there is demand and we are trying to meet it,” he said.

According to the company, it initially expected to sell 37,000 trucks in 2021.
